2007 camcorder

I've bought a camcorder.

I've fallen into this trap after scrolling into some digital age people recording in analog quality and it felt more real to me. In the age of AI where 24K quality with full AMOLED fullscreen quality 17:23 ratio with TrueColor(trademark) bla bla bla is achieved, I'm going back and into 16:9 with SD quality.

The reason for this is to obviously feel more real. As the video generation tools are progressing, it's getting harder and harder to differ reality from generated content. Although AI can emulate analog-age videos, there are subtle details that it can't (at least for now) like the interlacing effect and the absence of anti-aliasing while zooming in and out.

My impressions so far are very good as the footage hits exactly where I want it to, the HDD is still alive and running and the Memory Stick Pro duo adapter I got from Amazon allowed me to guarantee 128GB of internal storage (combined). It contains Nightshot Pro so I can go ghost hunting in the woods at night. It is not supposed to spit metadata like my phone do. It outputs .MPG files that I must convert later on to .MP4 although I've noticed that in some video editors, I can go straight with the .MPG file.

I'm planning to shoot this weekend and I will try to upload it here afterwards. Let's see how this plays out.
