I did not expect a single person to read my entries.
I woke up surprised to see that the text I wrote last night (while being slightly drunk) is gaining more attention than I had anticipated it to. Not only that, but another piece I wrote a couple weeks back also got some upvotes.
So if you are reading this, thank you for stopping by.
If there is one thing that I think is worth more than any amount of money in the world, that thing is time. Think about it; the time you are spending right here, right now, reading what I have wrote - you cannot claim it back. If you lose some money, you can recover that measure somehow. But time cannot be claimed back. So to anyone that spends their time here with me, let it be known that I respect and appreciate you.
I would also like to take this space to give a huge shout-out to Anton for linking my text into one of his posts. You must stop by his blog, as he is much better than me at being authentic and writing his feelings out instead of trying to be an expert on every subject or polish words to not be so blunt, like myself.
So, if you made it this far, three notes I have for you:
- Get drunk and write. Be authentic. Be brave. Speak about what you really feel. That's what people want to read. That's what draws value and emotion out of words - by being yourself.
- Do not try to be an expert on every subject you try to write. You are not AI. We are humans; we commit mistakes, and we evolve and do better by admitting, learning and moving on those mistakes. So it's ok to miss. Leave that typo there; that's how we truly know it was you writing and not AI.
